What does a professional organizer do?

As a professional organizer, it is my mission to help the client learn new ways of managing their space, stuff and time to reduce the stress resulting from disorganization. Whether you need help organizing your home, learning how to make your small business more efficient, or effectively managing your time at the office, a professional organizer can make sense of what may otherwise seem like chaos. Organizational Diva LLC can teach you new ways to deal efficiently with the everyday tasks in your life.

 

How involved will I be in the organizing process?

The client is encouraged and expected to play an integral role in developing a customized solution to the organization issues being addressed. It is important for the client to provide honest input during the process. It is my goal to teach the client new ways of organizing their space, stuff and time to eliminate the stress that clutter and disorganization bring.

 

Why should I use someone who is member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers)?

By working with an organizer who is a member of NAPO, you are assured that they will conduct themselves professionally and ethically at all times. NAPO members agree to abide by a code of conduct that ensures customers are treated fairly and professionally. In addition, NAPO members are committed to continuing education to enhance their service to their clients.

 

How are fees structured?

At Organizational Diva LLC, fees are generally based on a hourly rate. An estimate is provided in all contracts for services that describe the nature of the work to be done and the anticipated hours to complete the job. Actual hours to complete the work may differ from the original estimate. Packages of time can be purchased in advance at a discount. Large jobs require a retainer.

 

How long will the job last?

The length of time to complete a job can vary greatly based on the scope of the work to be done. For larger, ongoing consultation, a timetable will be established outlining client goals, milestones, and payment expectations.

 

Will I turn into a neat freak?

Probably not. The level of organization or efficiency in your home or office is an individual choice. Our goal is to provide each client with the customized tools necessary to achieve the level of organization that they desire.
